IMS Establishes Testbed with New Member Cosen

by Wenyu Zhao last modified 2014-01-22 16:06

The world leading bandsaw machine manufacturer Cosen has recently joined IMS Center as a member company. To better collaborate on a bandsaw machine condition monitoring project, IMS and Cosen have set up a test bed at the machine shop at University of Cincinnati's Victory Parkway campus. Cosen has sent its employees to provide machine calibration and operation training for IMS researchers. The researchers will be working on experiments and data analysis based on this test bed, along with another test bed that has been previously set up in Taiwan, where Cosen headquarters is.

At the mean time, the machine will also be used for training undergraduate students by the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering
